Cached in, I mistakenly counted the days.
I'd check out August 31, 2006, before you go.
All I want to do is read, drink, think and listen to jazz.
By all accounts, anonymous or otherwiZe, Wednesday is a lonely night; a night only fit for jazz and whiskey (or x the e) and thought and blogs and ants and wheels of two and brothers and soggy bottoms and the like.
Am I the only dude - gender neutral - that comments on this blog?
Mr. Anonymous Dear Sir,
and any reader worth his whiskey knows who you are-
I can only say thank you very much for your courage and your interest. You are a gifted gentleman and I consider myself fortunate to have met you and to have had your kind company. I very much look forward to further association in person.
Dear Mr. Sean Said:
Obviously, the major question in your captive reads' minds is how anyone, anonymous or otherwise, can truly know who "Mr." or "Ms." "Anonymous" really is - whiskey's value notwithstanding.
You see, my fine onoma+ous friend, Mr. Anonymous certainly belongs to the "Anonymous League", which is formed of hundreds and thousands - perhaps millions - of anonymous folks around the world (no one can really say with certainty, of course). Any one of the 'leaguers' could respond with comments on your blog with the same abstract force as any other - thereby protecting their collective and individual anonymity. Again - who knows? - really.
In any case, I'll pass your kind words on to Mr. Anonymous, whomever he or she is, and offer a slight apology to your readers if anything Mr. Anonymous said recently may have lowered your blog's "G" rating or insulted any of your viewers. I'm sure it was only partially intentional.
However, let's discuss the real issue here: the "worth of whiskey." I've been i-ing the notion of Canadian Whisky lately, wondering of its warmth in a cool climate.
Three cheers and oh Canada,
a
