Turning
So it is Autumn in Boulder, Colorado.
It is Autumn in Philadelphia. It is Autumn in North Conway. It is Autumn in my mind.
It is time to turn a new leaf so to speak. The Aspens in Boulder and vicinity are passing through an excellent golden yellow. I'm thinking the sycamores and maples on the other side of the country are getting or gone vermillion and other neat words for red.
The 25th of October is approaching. I will be back in the Philadelphia suburbs soon deciding what exactly to do with myself now. Lately I've been enjoying creature comforts and trying to begin to digest all the activities of the past three months or so.
Things to read, things to write, expressive energy to apply in some way- some way beside simply physically pushing up some incline from low to high place- something more cerebral but still to do with lifting, lifting up: up-lifting.

S,
You sure do get the crap on your blogspot. Oh well, "private road construction" does sound intriguing.
However, as for lifting, your high-rise lies on the horizontal. Yes, indeed, allow me to make the world debut, here and now, of the word and place:
Antfarm.
Yes, indeed, your future lies on the antfarm. Where the horizon is as high as one gets, making plenty of room for cerebal mountains or molehills or the transubstantiation of one to the other or the other to the one.
Come, crawl with us at the Antfarm; where one comes and goes and makes more of it because of it.
Today, October 19, 2005, is the day of the world debut of the Antfarm.
